Birds feature heavily on the additions to the Ecolaw website this month - a systematic effort by the Ecolaw team to add all schedule 1 WCA (1981) species in the next few months.

There are also new information sheets: NVC summary sheets for mires and a list of Trunk Road Estate Biodiversity Action Plan (TREBAP) species for Welsh road schemes. Quick field keys for fungi and mosses will be coming soon.

Watch out for case studies in the New Year. If you have short (250 words) case studies on development affecting protected species or habitats, mitigation proposals or even examples of when it all went horribly wrong, we welcome contributions from members. If it puts information in the wider field, we will publish it on the site.
